Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ambulance EMT to join our team in Day County, Webster SD. The primary responsibility of the Ambulance EMT is to provide emergency medical care to patients in need of assistance. This includes responding to emergency calls, assessing the patient's condition, and providing necessary medical treatment while en route to the hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls promptly and safely
• Assess patient's condition and administer appropriate medical treatment
• Transport patients to the hospital in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain and clean equipment and ambulances
• Participate in continuing education and training programs

Qualifications:

• Valid EMT certification
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
